Dragon Motif Gamer Binder

A few months ago I attended ComicCon here in SLC, and so I crafted up a few gamer binders to take with me.

This was features a Dragon Motif on the front. The spine of the book was crafted to resemble scaled dragon coils, and as you can see in the bottom image, there are 2 small drawers hidden in it which come out. This was the first time I've ever crafted a partial book spine. When the drawers are in place, the spin looks whole and complete. It isn't until you slide them out that you realize that those individual coils aren't connected.

The border of the book is decorated in the corners with scale-like carving, but otherwise I've kept the design very simple and clean.

This is a fully functional 3-ring binder, so you can put things in it.
